Emily Deem

Emily is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who believes in the power of talking about hard things! She is passionate about helping her clients understand their thoughts, feelings and actions and operates from a place of empathy and curiosity. Emily believes that her client’s are the experts in their world and values a collaborative therapeutic approach. Emily specializes in working with client’s experiencing complex trauma, bereavement, and mood disorders. She feels strongly connected to supporting parents with skill based approaches to improve the child’s and family’s quality of life. She takes a purposeful approach in the groups she facilitates and truly believes in the strength of group therapy. Emily is drawn to supporting individuals who are looking to make the necessary shifts to create a life they truly want to live!

Sara O’Boyle

Sara obtained her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL. She is currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida.

Sara began her experience with the Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders, first beginning as a practicum student to then transitioning as a full-time primary therapist and program manager working with teens and adults. During this time, Sara also began serving part-time at the Kids Cancer Foundation, working with children and families navigating the battle against childhood cancer. Sara worked with clients to cope with adversity, build resilience and find hope in the face of life-altering circumstances.

Sara approaches therapy as a collaborative process, guiding clients to explore their inner world, uncover their strengths and embrace their most authentic selves. Together, you can explore and increase coping, communication, and emotional tolerance skills with compassion. With expertise in eating disorders, body image, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, trauma and grief, Sara is passionate about helping others utilize the skills needed to live a more fulfilled life.

Avital Smilovits

Avi was born and raised in South Florida. Her love for horses began at age four and since then, she has volunteered, worked, and rode at various barns in the South Florida area.

Avi earned double bachelor’s degrees in both management and marketing from Florida Atlantic University in 2013. 

Avi became Eagala certified in 2016, driven by a desire to help individuals struggling with addiction, a cause close to her heart due to her brother's struggles. She further developed her skills while working at Tomorrow’s Rainbow, supporting indivuduals working through bereavement, trauma, and addiction. Her brother's overdose in 2017 further strengthened her commitment to supporting grieving families, understanding firsthand the challenges of processing loss.

Avi leads with passion and a strong desire to support individuals and families. She is thoughtful in her approach and takes the time that is necessary to meet her clients where they are at in their healing journey.
